Mpumalanga work splits into two regions and we cover both. The Highveld coal corridor — Witbank, Middelburg, Secunda — drives mining, power-station and Sasol petrochemical work. The Lowveld — Nelspruit, White River, Lydenburg — runs more commercial, agricultural and Maputo-corridor logistics.
Mpumalanga is a province with two distinct working environments. The Highveld — Witbank, Middelburg, Secunda — is mining, coal, power generation and petrochemical heartland. The Lowveld — Nelspruit, White River, Hazyview — is commercial, hospitality, agricultural and logistics to Maputo. Our teams cover both. Mobilisation typically runs from our Joburg positions on a one-night turnaround, or we coordinate from local depot positions for longer-running projects.
Mpumalanga work splits into four buckets: mining & coal — eMalahleni and Middelburg pit work, conveyor sections, plant equipment; power generation — Kendal, Kusile, Duvha, Hendrina-area power stations and substations; petrochemical — Secunda Sasol site work; and Lowveld commercial & logistics — Nelspruit / Mbombela commercial, agriculture, Maputo-corridor logistics.
Coal-mining plant equipment, conveyor section moves, washing-plant installs, processing-plant work. Mining-site safety protocols, dust planning, slow-vehicle escorts all standard. Most pit-side work needs a vetted contractor — we've been on most of the major mines.
Power-station maintenance lifts, turbine-hall equipment, transformer placements at the associated substations. Power-station work is highly proceduralised — lift plans signed off weeks in advance, strict permit-to-work, no flexibility on schedule. We run to it.
Sasol-site work is its own world. Site-specific induction, vetted-contractor list, strict shutdown windows. We're set up for it and have been in and out of Secunda on plant turnarounds and project work.
Lowveld work is more varied — commercial rooftop equipment in Nelspruit (Mbombela), hospitality and Kruger-gateway development around White River and Hazyview, agricultural plant for sugar and citrus, Maputo-corridor logistics through Komatipoort. The Lowveld is hotter and lower-altitude so kit specs differently from the Highveld jobs.
